You should also check for offer details and exclusions. Many promo codes are restricted to specific items, or require a spending threshold, for example $10 off orders over $100.
In general it is rare that online stores allow you to use multiple promo codes on a single purchase. However, many stores do allow promo codes in conjunction with sitewide sales and free shipping deals. To know for sure it is best to check with the specific website you are making a purchase on.
